Peace of Mind: Understanding Your Battery Warranty
At Varta German Battery Hub, we stand behind the quality of our products. Our warranty is designed to give you peace of mind, ensuring your investment is protected. Here’s what you need to know.
Warranty Coverage
All our automotive batteries come with a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period (e.g., 12, 24, or 36 months) is specified on your original purchase receipt and on the product page.
How to Make a Claim
If you believe your battery has failed due to a manufacturing defect within the warranty period:
- Bring the faulty battery and the original proof of purchase to our location on Lusaka Road, Nairobi.
- Our technicians will perform a comprehensive test on the battery and your vehicle's charging system (alternator) to determine the cause of failure.
- If the battery is found to be defective, we will provide an immediate free replacement with a new battery of the same specification.
What Is Not Covered?
The warranty does not cover failure from causes other than manufacturing defects, including but not limited to:
- Damage from improper installation, misuse, or negligence.
- Batteries that have been opened or tampered with.
- Failure due to a faulty vehicle charging system or electrical leak.
- Physical damage such as a broken container or terminals.
- A discharged battery due to leaving lights or accessories on.
