Technical Longevity: The Hub's Maintenance Protocol

A genuine Varta or Amaron unit is a high-performance chemical engine. To maintain its integrity in the Nairobi tropics, a standard maintenance protocol is required.

The 3-Step Protocol

1. Terminal Integrity: Ensure connections are tightened to factory torque specs to prevent arcing and high-resistance heat.
2. Alternator Sync: Verify your charging system output is between 13.8V and 14.4V. Over-charging leads to electrolyte "gassing" and premature plate drying.
3. Clean Nodes: Remove oxidation from terminals using a solution of bicarbonate of soda and water, followed by a professional anti-corrosive spray.
